Asal Malekzadeh is one of Iran’s professional percussion musicians and has led the Sarmast Percussion Group since 2009. Through performances in Iran and abroad, teaching daf at Alzahra University, owning the brands Malek Percussion and MLK Percussion, and being introduced as an artist of the German company Meinl, she has established her position as an influential artist in the fields of daf, cajón, and percussion.
